i think it's impossible to let go of the one you love. Relationship has endings, but loving someone is a whole different story. If you think it's for the best then it won't kill you. (because i think you asking this question must be killing you) I think you shouldn't let go even if it's for the best. You might just end up having a regret. you have to keep striving for what you want and not let go.

That depends on who's best your talking about..is it for the best in ur case or hers?

I gave up the one I truly loved because I knew it was for the best. Even now 3 yrs later and it still kills me but I know she is happy with a child she always wanted and a family she always dreamed of. I am not saying it will be easy because nothing about love is ever easy.

All I can tell you is just do it and if it is for the one you loves best intrest then do it..if it's for yours..then sleep on it..weigh the pros and cons of such an action..as the old saying goes if you love something let it go..if it comes back it was yours..if it never does then suck it up and drive on..you live, you love, you learn..
