lol I've licked one side. It tingles, shocks, and just plain hurts! No real sparks or anything, though! I do not recommend doing it, though cause' , gosh does it hurt! Does it matter? Its not enough to realize that its kind of a stupid thing to do?

Guessing, that some of the chemicals inside are poisionous and you could get shock.

i don't think it's bad at all, unless the switch is in the on position and the device hasn't been cleaned in a while.
