How many times and how much each time?

Do ya'll follow the whatever they can eat in 1 min rule?

My vet told me conflicting advice.

I have always did the free feeding thing. But if your puppy hasn't been doing that it might overeat. I guess read the bag and monitor if your pup is gaining or staying at the same weight. Mainly stay on a schedule for whatever you decide.

Check the information on the bag of food (or the can of food if it is canned food) and see what that says.

This does not necessarily work because the dog/puppy might not be completely full in one minute. I fed my puppy three times a day (breakfast, lunch, supper) but you can feed them two times a day. Either way, just make sure the puppy gets its food.

depends on how old the dog is and why they are 13 pounds but i would say about half a bowl of food two times a day but if this is not working out you may want to consult a vet for a second opinion

Let the puppy eat as much and as often as he/she wants. Puppy wont over eat.
