it totally depends on the breed. like say you have a poodle, most of them are not that friendly. bitches tend to be less of a nice personality than males. with a Dalmatian they also tend to be unfriendly. but with most toys breeds and Labradors, German Shepherds, Huskies, Golden Retrievers, and Lhasa Apsos have great personalities. another great breed is the Springer Spaniel. they have a very loving, people personality. but in every litter there is an alpha dog. these dogs tend to think that they are the boss. it takes a little more patience for this type. always remember that dogs ancestors were wolves.
i hope this helped.

I prefebally like adult males because they look extra lively and they are kinfolk dogs. I your spouse and children has little toddlers then a male because they don't get afflicted. they'll by no skill chew. The ladies look slightly extra of a lone wolf. They dont opt to be messed with very a lot and are quite terittorial. this received't be the case for most breeds, yet for pappilions that's the case. we've a boy and he will put up with some thing he do to him and he will by no skill get offended.at the same time as were drained hes drained after we are lively he's lively. in case you have not determined on getting a particular breed get a pappilion. they're captivating and smart(learns very with out delay) only make confident you analyze in the journey that they are finished breeds aren't from now on. search for the markings. only dont be enable down if the lengthy hairs on there ears dont advance for a 12 months or 2. they're nonetheless cute as pups even with the truth that. they could look like risk interior the save yet once you're taking them abode they're sweethearts.

Neither, the personality of the person pretty much shapes the personality of the dogs . The only difference is some dogs have stronger natural instincts then others and some are more dominant then others. Males and females can be sweet tempered.

In terms of GREYHOUNDS, I have heard that males are more lovable and playful than females. The females, especially the brood mamas tend to be possessive and bitchy. We have two males so I don't know any females very well but I know quite a few people with lovable female greys...really snuggly too. If you want to make sure you'll get back as much love as you put out, go male (for a greyhound) but if you work at it, any dog will show you they love you, just in their own way!

I have 2 rotts. They are both very loving and have personalities of there own. My male loves to lean and sleep on the bed and the couch and in my lap. My female loves to be petted and loved on, she will get on the couch but not the bed. I think it depends on the animal not the breed. I also have a male kitten and he is always wanting to be petted and loved on. My sister has 2 female kittens and they are loners they don't like anyone touching them unless they go to the person.

It doesn't really matter if they're spayed/neutered it doesn't really matter. I've heard that in some breeds (doberman) the male tends to be solitary where as the female likes to be around you. In the olther breeds its the other way around. I've also heard that males can be a little harder to train, but don't think too hard on that.

it doesnt really matter what gender or breed. It depends on the way you treat the dog. If you treat them nicely and pet them and every thing then they willo be nice and wont bite. But if you treat them badly then they will, bite and be mean and have a bad personality, so it all depends on how you treat the dog.

Either one. Depends on the temperament of the dog, the breed, how it's raised, etc. Either can become territorial without the correct discipline.
