YES. A world ruled by someone like Jerry Farwell or Pat Robertson wouldn't be worth living in.

I would fight for Freedom of Thought even if it was the atheists who were about to take over the world. The only world worth living in is a Pluralistic one. Anything else would be like living under the Nazi's.

Erm, they already did. At least back in the day when Asia and the Middle East didn't exactly have a place in their mindset.
Then just when we think we're finally making some real progress on the issue, they go and put a fundamentalist chimp in the White House. Crikey!

It seems to me that they would be so busy bickering amongst themselves which group of Christians is better that they probably would hardly notice us at all.
But since you asked, I have been fighting back for the last 20 years for recognition of my religion as valid, and will continue to do so. And we have been very successful, with a few road blocks here and there. We do manage to move them though.
What is it they say - faith moves mountains? I don't believe that is limited to only one faith, and the faith is not bounded by one specific religion. Together we do move many things, don't we. Just take a look at the last election.

To me, that's like asking if I'd fight back if bulimics took over the world. I'd be fine with it. Bulimics can be good people, and many do well with power. As long as they didn't institute any 'finger down the throat' policies, that'd be fine.

Define "taking over the world"? If they used their power to deny others of their rights, then yes, I would.

Uh. Actual Christians, or Paulists?
People who follow what Jesus said (not the OT, not Paul)....I wouldn't have a problem with them, and they woudln't have a problem with me.They woudn't try to forcibly convert me, or anyone.
Most are Paulists, though, and those I would fight.

It would be the Atheists before the christians that would take over the world.
And if the christians ever DID take over the world, I would stab myself to death because I would refuse to believe in such crap.

Depends on how they decide to rule. If they're peaceful and tolerant - fine. If they're violent and if they impose their beliefs on me - not fine. I'd strike back, of course - in my own way, not theirs.
