women show their emotion more than guys do. not that guys are any less emotional they just hide it more.

It's normal for girls to hug or even kiss on the cheek when they greet. That's just the way girls are. They are more affectionate than guys.

A Godgiven right to the gentle sex to publicly express their emotions of intimacy, as opposed to the emotional reflex generally expected and accepted among men (publicly at least). It is after all the socially seemly sight.

Because women(as me) are very sensitive,and when they meet someone they really care about they hug to show their love. It`s just simple and pure...

same reason women tell their best friends "i love you" when they get off the phone. any guy who does that would get teased and called a fag or something. women are just more tender.
