Could you explain it please.....considering the US is just about the only country to still routinely circumsize boys.....why on earth would an adult male do such a thing?

There isn't a medical reason for it. It isn't cleaner, unless you are just too lazy to wash yourself. It actually adds protection to the glands in many way....like it won't allow itself to be retracted if it is irritated....as in from too much sex.

Yes there are religious reasons....can't see any others though. Whether religious or otherwise, its there naturally for a reason, you shouldn't just chop it off.

And no, my son is not circumsized and having been with men both that were and were not, natural is better. Being circumsized in adulthood certainly does not change the size of a mans penis...circumsizing at birth can make it shorter however.

I cannot imagine any good reason to get circumcised, as you have said all the reasons given are false. But I am pro-choice, if a grown adult man wants to be circumcised, go for it. I personally find it misguided or stupid but if that is his choice.

It is a choice to be made by a male about his own penis..

However, infant boys and children cannot give their consent to this body modification, and no one should make the decision for them.

Every human being has a right to a body as complete and perfect as G*d or nature gave it to them. No one or group has a right to change that because of their opinions or superstitions.

This basic right applies equally to girls in Africa, Asia, and boys in the U.S.

the US is not the only country where boys are routinely circumcised. In all the Arab countries it is rare to find a man who is not circumcised (both Muslim and Christians). The reason is that the extra piece of skin can carry germs and becomes a source of infection so it is always cleaner to cut it. I was circumcised when I was 10 days old so I can't remember any pain.

some men are very generously endowed so it would be very painful for any woman they were with . Think it is very considerate of them to get circumcise , of course some don't need to take any 'weight' of as they are already lacking in size.
Some of them are selfish and don't really care if they hurt another person with their . besides it is also a religious issue in the bible catholic men are ordered to get circumcise at birth.

if they want to marry a girl, convert to her religion, and her religion requires the man to be cut. In my opinion, you have to be really in love here.

I guess you'd have to ask a man that huh? Personally, I've only been with one guy who wasn't and it was a major turn off. But that's just me, to each their own.
