What if you don't?

What should I do because my mom lives in a different state and I see her on the weekends but I live with my dad and he isn't a very good adult, he yells at me a lot and always calls me a liar! What should I do?

The answers are two :
1. Just see if you really lied to your father which caused him to be hurt morally or socially? If yes try to build trust gradually.

2. See your father background ,and see if he lied in his life and why? And check if others lied to him to lose something? If yes , then problem is that he has lost his trust,and you have to help him by your good words and action.

well, there isnt much you can do until you're older than 12, but if you're over 12 most states will let you file the paperwork to choose which parent has custody of you, although the ultimate decision is made by the judge who has to look at a bunch of things and decide what is best for the kid, but the judge usually asks the kid what they want....maybe you should talk to someone that deals with child custody cases every day, maybe a lawyer for example, they'd be able to give you more advice than anyone

if you really dont like living with your dad then go live with your mom if you rwally want to...it will affect others around you but if they love you then they should understand if you really care about someone then you have to think of them before yourself ...your loved ones should think how much happier you would be but you cant totaly cut all of them out make time to see and talk to them!
