I forgot and left it on the charger all night. The next morning the charger was cold when it should have been real hot by then. Is my charger ruined? If so how much would one cost?

Yeah, people say it's best to not go over 2 hours when charging but it's to save the battery not the charger. The life of the battery is supposedly shortened if you keep it charging all the time. Eventually it won't hold a charge anymore and will constantly die. I've overcharged all my phones and never had a problem though some of my friends have had problems over time. Your charger is probably fine. If it's broken, it's not because you left your phone plugged in all night.

your phone stops charging when the battery is full.there is nothing wrong with your charger.you should let your battery go completely dead before charging,it increases your battery life.
