It's not a womens job to be a maid, some just choose the housewife way of life. If he wants to be a chauvanistic piglett, then I say be a feminist and give him a taste of his own medicine.
Personally I'd give him the boot.

It depends on what else he's doing. If he's busy, you should help him out however you can. If he's just loafing around (not sick or depressed or anything) and expecting you to act like a maid ALL the time, then that isn't right. You're supposed to take turns doing stuff like that. Have a nice day!

My man does the dishes and the laundry. All I do is cook and occasionally vacuum. I'm the lazy one!!!
BUT!!! If the woman doesn't work, I'm gonna have to say the least she can do is keep the house clean.

I am a housewife so yes I do pick up after my husband because he works long hours and he gives me a very good living...what else am I suppose to do all day besides drink wine with my rich friends?

It is my job and I do get paid to be a housewife. I probably get paid much more being a housewife than in a proper full time job so I'm not complaining
