Something is going around...see if you are dehydrated, and drink plenty of fluids...believe it or not, it can affect your sinus', your lungs, and your throat...now, get some cough syup,...and something to settle you down...if you are coughing up something green,...then take your temperature and see if you need to get some antibiotics., although if it is a virus, they won't help...There are a lot of things going around right now...and you will be fine...but go to your doctor to be sure I know people who have been at it coughing for about three weeks now...just something in the air possibly....but if you are concerned, go see a doc.

Believe it or not, your draining sinuses can cause you to cough.
It drains down the back of your throat creating a tickle and then you cough.
You can try something like Actifed or some other Antihistimine but I prefer Tussin DM,a generic Robitussin DM which not only has antihistimines but it also has a decongestant/expectorant just incase the cold has gone into your lungs.
The expectorant helps to break up fluid accumulated in your lungs and helps you bring it up so you can get rid of it.
Anytime you run a fever, you probably need to see your Dr.

I have a friend that has had a chronic cough fro 2 years. She went to see an herbal Dr. and they mixed up a tincture for her w/ dandelion root and horsehair root along with some other things. There are so many causes of a chronic cough that it's hard to diagnosis without seeing a Dr. . Look up and go see an herbal person.
