It is getting frustrating, but I am too shy to make a first move. My sister has guys falling all over her, but I have never experienced that. What can I do to get noticed by a guy I like?

you just have to be patient, and be yourself. Sometimes things take time to develop, and being someone that you are not, just to attract attention is sort of like living a lie. You can do it for a while, but not for long, and the consequences are brutal.

If there is someone in particular that you want attention from, then just go talk to him. I realize that you may be a bit too shy for that even, but try catching him one-on-one..person to person...and knowing what you want to say before you start talking. Be honest...people don't like lies, and if he is worthwhile, he will appreciate that it isn't easy for you, and he'll help you through it.

If it turns out that he is not the type to do that, then you are better off knowing that as soon as you can, so you can move on.

Get yourself fixed up..put on some light make-up, just dont go over board. Guys r attracted to a female who posses confidence and high self-esteem. Don't worry about ur sister. Do your thing and just try to be a bit open w/ guys. I know being shy can be difficult, but just think about it this way...how r u ever going to date if you are giving guys the wrog impression?! They probably don't want to approach and date u because you probaly give out a "Don't look at me or touch me" look/aura. Just be open and try to make small conversations. Just don't go boy crazy and act easy. Be careful and have fun. Do what makes u happy.

Give it time. I don't think you really want guys falling all over you, but you want ONE decent guy falling all over you. Be patient; you'll find him.
