It is not easy being a Christian in Jerusalem. In 1948, Jerusalem was comprised of 24% Christians, today, that figure is a mere 2%. They need your prayers and if you are able to, financial support too. Let's not forget them.

All, to ask for prayers (and that is my primary request here) for a specific group of Christians, does not in anyway mean that other suffering Christians around the world do not need our prayers.

And for those who are not aware, a minority of Palestinians (about 10%) are Christian and they are really the lowest of the lows in the region.

this is a shame as Jerusalem is a Holy City and should be treated as such. however, the situation there proves how hard it really is for different diverse Religions to work in peace, unity and harmony.

It is not easy being anything in Jerusalem. Christan's are not the only people to pray for there. How about those poor Palestinian people? Maybe they deserve a little love from god, you, and your pocket book?
Stop and think for just a minute. Why should I give anything to them? They do not stop or take an active role in stopping the violence. The Jews treat those people as if they were in a replay of the Holocaust and most Christians do nothing.
Now with that said Jews, Christan, and Palestinians are not all bad. In fact many are trying to find solutions to these problems but I doubt that financing already wealth Christians with in Israel is a worthy cause. Most of the time they spend it on themselves and material frivolity's. Think about those less fortunate. Wait that sounds to much like a Christan notion to me.

Why should we only be concerned about bretheren in Jerusalem? There are Christians all over the world who suffer the same or worse than those in Jerusalem. China and Africa come to mind.

Umm; and don't forget the Israelis who live there, too! After all; it IS their home country. No other nation in the world can claim that G-d gave them the land they now live on.
