Great gifts in my opinion include things that they just naturally love, things the'd never think of or buy themselves, or that come from the heart and remind you of each other.

Some of my favorite gifts ........

a CD of favorite love songs (did this for my tenth anniversary and wrapped in aluminum foil since it was the tin year, husband keeps it in the truck)
when I'm 64, beetles, still the one I love shania twain, forever yours faithfully, journey, Feel like making love, bad company etc very diverse CD, pachbel cannon from our wedding)

Framed photo (collage or book)

goodie basket. Recipients favorites homeade food - or candies and microwave popcorn, hot chocolate and a movie

Magazine subscription or book

A picnic basket loaded and ready to go for a drive. (CD, food & drinks, blanket)

A wallet (stick some nice pics in to personalize), watch, sunglasses, victorianox swiss army knife

MyPublisher photo book - online service to print professional bound book - very cool

Digitial photframe preloaded with pictures

Museum/Club/gym membership

tickets to the theater or sport you guys like

good luck, picking out gifts

Get him what comes from the heart! Ok, I think I can give you a list! Under $90 huh?

1. A good gospel album(You said he's very religious)
2. Some Christmas cookies(Bake some, even better)
3. Chocolate, or any Holiday candy
4. A biblical movie he hasn't seen
5. Take him to dinner
6. Make a gift
7. A Build A Bear
8. Wine or beer(if he drinks)
9. A bike
10. Breakfast or dinner in bed

Either way, enjoy the Holidays!

We had this quandary with my brother-in-law a few years ago. We ended up gifting him with a gold cross necklace and he wore it every single day until his death. His wife kept it and now wears it herself every day. A simple gold cross on a nice chain is a wonderful gift for someone who is religious and easy going.
