depends on how the relationship ended the last time, but ya, it can be a good idea, just dont say what you mean, just tell him happy holidays or whatever and see if he responds.. talk with him for awhile and act like your not thinking about getting back together and see how it goes... if he is willing to just be your friend then i would consider telling him how you feel, but if he keeps asking to get back together it depends on how you feel, but if u really want to know how he feels dont give him sex for a few months at least, that I think is the ultimate test to see if a guy really likes you and doesnt want just sex..... hope everything works out for you..

y not if your interested in him or her do you and that is a sure found way to find out besides if he doesnt send back or call hes definitely not interested in you but if he does send or call he has some interest maybe just as a friend but he has interest but if not move on
