I love making cocktails and the books have the same recipes in them I wondered if anyone had anything different. Vodka is my favourite spirit.

At the risk of sounding like James Bond, I like a Vodka Martini. And most bars make them Shaken, not Stirred. Add Ice to a cocktail shaker, pour a drop or two of Dry Vermouth over the ice, Shake and then poor off the Vermouth. Add 2 oz. High Quality Vodka, shake well strain into a Martini Glass. Garnish with a cocktail onion or olive as you prefer.

For me, the Colorado Bulldog. If made right, it almost tastes like a chocolate malt. For those not knowing what this is, its a White Russian, with a splash of Coke. That makes the total ingredients Vodka, Milk, Kahlua, and Coke.

Where I live in Tulsa, Ok the best place to get a GOOD one is Arnie's Bar. In Dallas, I'd recommend The Londoner or The Old Monk. They are delicious, but watch out!! They don't taste like alcohol so its easy to over do them!!

I enjoy just about all vodka drinks, but I've always wanted to try the $950 a glass Reserve Ruby Red.

It's a martini glass, made with
- Grey Goose L'Orange vodka
- Hypnotiq liqueur
- Orange juice
- Pomegranate juice
- Topped off with Dom Pérignon

(The coup de grâce: a one-carat ruby affixed to the stirrer.)

Bloody Mary is the best.

Plenty of ice, generous shot of vodka, dash of lemon juice, some horseradish (grated - not sauce!) tabasco, worcestershire sauce, sprinkle of celery salt and black pepper. Add tomato juice. Stir and garnish with lemon or lime slices and a stick of celery.

Less a drink and more a main course - but delicious!

I like vodka based martinis...but whenever I go out I usually go with my old standbys, either a Vodka Collins (vodka, sweet and sour and sprite/seltzer) or a Cosmopolitan.

Vodka & Redbull is good, but kinda expensive. X-Rated vodka is a great pink-colored French Vodka. Some good recipes... X-Rated Flirtini: In a shaker glass over ice, 1 shot X-Rated, 1 shot premium Vodka, splash of cranberry juice. X on the Peach: In a shaker glass over ice, 1 shot X-Rated, 1/2 shot peach schnapps, splash of pineapple juice. X-Rated Rita: In a shaker glass over ice, 1 shot X-Rated, 1 shot premium tequila, 4 oz. sweet & sour, splash of lime, splash of sprite.
