Be eternally with God - other than that we don't yet know
The 144,000 will preach the Word of God (Jesus) to Israel and will be marked by God and untouchable by the forces of evil.
The left behind refer to people not raptured (some believe in the rapture, others do not). Those accepting Jesus as Lord during this time will also be marked by God, but they are not immune to the Antichrist and his persecution - they will, however, be reunited with Jesus - either upon death or when He appears on the Mount of Olives.

What will Christians do during eternity? We will spend it in the presence of God! To those who are not saved that may sound boring, but to those who know Christ Jesus see it as the best thing ever! As to the 144,000 from the tribes of Israel, as far as far as I can tell they will basically do the same, as for those who did not take the mark, they were not saved as they took the mark of the beast, or simply refused to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. However, this is all AFTER the rapture, so anyone who was a Christian at that time would have been already caught up. God bless!

The 144,000 are not just natural Jews but are made up of people of every people, nation, and tongue, they are Spiritual Israel, the Israel of God. They are going to serve in heaven as priests of God and as associate kings with Christ Jesus and rule over the earth during Christ's thousand year reign. The ones who survive the great tribulation and come through Armageddon will live forever on a restored paradise earth, they will lead righteous lives for all eternity on earth doing the things Jehovah set out for the first human pair Adam and Eve, they will be stewarts of the earth, they will care for the earth and all it's inhabitants, the animals and wildlife turning the earth into a park like home, planting, building, and sowing seed and harvesting. We will have all eternity to study our earth and other creations of God and raise families until the earth is filled to Jehovah God's will. God's original purpose for the earth has never changed, it must become an earthly paradise filled with righteous people. Christ Jesus and the 144,000 will bring the earth back to perfection, they will cure the people of all sickness, the lame will be made to walk, the deaf to hear, the blind to see, and the mute to speak, peace will be brought to all the earth, Jesus will resurrect all those in their memorial tombs, death will be brought to nothing, polution will be cleaned up, the earth will be restored. And new scrolls will be opened and all those who are resurrected who do not know the true God will be taught about Jehovah and of his Son, Christ Jesus so that they to can exercise faith in him. The earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very seas. At the end of the thousand years when everything has been restored, Satan will be released from the abyss for a final test and those who pass will be given everlasting life, those who fail will be cast into the lake of fire, the second death. And Jesus will hand back the kingdom to his Father and God, Jehovah. And then Jehovah will be everything to everybody.
