yes I have a shaker collection and I do it all the time just make sure they dry or they can rust. and avoid the ones with a rubber grip the rubber will stretch under heat and water gets stuck underneath

Yep Brass is the only metal you don't want in a dishwasher it will tarnish and discolor,stainless just wipe dry with towel good to go ....

Yes you can. I recommend the top rack as the rubber seals will hold up better exposed to a lower heat level.
