Some is grown hydroponically and appears in areas were the temparture does not fall below freezing, but if that is not possible, there are frozen varieties, I used to buy it for my restaurants when I was achef, check all the local supermarkets and grocery stores, sometimes Costco or Sams Club stock it, but I am sure one of the markets around you would have smeo frozen in stock.
