My bestfriend asked me a question....?

Ok like I am talking on the phone with my best guy friend Mike. He asked me how old I was...I said 19 he said he's 21 that he can date me. Then he sorta asked me what I thought...I was like shocked. Cuz he is such a good friend...not too mention I thought he was gay. What should I say?? Please help thanks in advance!
