mary seymour was the only daughter of catherine parr and her 4th and last husband, Thomas Seymour. catherine parr was the last wife of king henry VIII before he died. Catherine gave birth to only ONE child Mary seymour, i can't figure out what happened to her...does anyone know?

The last evidence of Mary Seymour's existence is a grant made to her guardian (her father was executed shortly after her birth) just before her second birthday. She drops out of the records completely after that and most historians believe she died in childhood. A case for her having lived into adulthood and having married a John Bushnel was put forward in the 1700's but there's nothing that's contemporary. Wish we had the final answer.
