They are really good but depending on how curly/wavy your hair is you might want to consider other cheaper options if your hair is not crazy lol.

well im now on my second pair of GHDs, dont get me wrong they are amazing, ive got the tickest curliest hair and i can properly straighten my hair in about 30mins if i do it perfect. however my first pair actually exploded on me, they was a faulty batch apparently i got my 2nd pair free but still. i went through about 6 different types of straghtners before i rested in GHDs, i havent yet found any that help out with my hair type the way GHDs do! Hope you make the right choice

Maybe a teeny bit but they are so good. They heat up almost instantly and you hair is straight after one run through. The leave your hair looking amazing.

However, there are many more straighteners out there and for me my hair isnt that untameable that i need ghd quality so £50 straighteners are fine on my hair.

I think so, i have a pair of babyliss pro, with ceramic plates, heat up real fast and sraighten my hair beautifully. Only cost £20 and I am more than happy with them.

they are fantastic...although i have just bought my daughter some pink 'she' straightener off ebay, and to be honest there is little difference, apart from about £60.....i think they are too expensive, so try ebay, and put in she pink straighteners, they are really good, definately as good as ghd's.

no i swear they arent, i'm a stylist and have used most brands but nothing comes close, also they are always remodelling them and thinking of ways to better them, next years set come in a different temperature and they now even do male sets with products and allsorts!
