Depends...what's the situation? How old are you? Is he standing there right now waiting for an answer while you ask our advice?
If you are 18 or over then agree to meet him (not have him pick you up) at a restaurant or bar (etc) where you can get to know one another and have a meal or drink...
If you are under 18 and you are interested, tell him you'd like to get to know him a bit first and go from there...

looks aren't every thing its on the inside that counts. i would say " yes but can we go a little slow so we can get to know each other?" my friend has a boyfriend and he's my friend. people say he ugly but hes not. I'm not saying I'm crushing on him im saying hes my friend. he funny smart and nice. i always say to my friends that call my friends boyfriend ugly i always stand up for her and say "HEY!, Looks aren't everything you know! it whats on the inside (besides guts and intestines) but their personality." the first night i met him was at the movie with my friend he was funny and offered to buy everything! but i said it was OK and i would buy my stuff. he was sweet. well back to your question. like i said looks aren't everything its what is on the inside that counts. the hott guy that asked you out could be as dumb as pie (no offense)but if he was a smart and nice, funny person like my friend boyfriend was then i would say "Sure I'll go out with you"
