Because of the recent E.Coli scares with Taco Bell and spinach, how many of you are having a hard time buying any sort of packaged lettuce/produce. And how many of you will start eating fast food a lot less. I know it had definantly effected me! You won't be catching me eating fast food anytime soon or eating "bagged" salad!

Registered Nurse here; Completely agree with you. Even though "They Say" the bagged spinach is saver than ever. And that Taco Bell is probably now one of the safest places to eat. However for sometime now, we try and prepare our food at home and take a lunch to work, or where ever we are going. I'm sure you know this, but just in case some of the people responding doesn't, I'm going to share. E. Coli, is a fancy name for feces, that is exactly what it is food contaminated with fecal material. Just thinking this is enough to discourage just about any place to eat outside the home, and even then you have to be so careful, for the E. Coli, seems to be popping up everywhere.

The problem is no one is washing their fruits an vegetables anymore or doing a good job of it when they do it...even bagged spinach and lettuce has to be washed before you eat it--you don't know who's touched it before you did. Places like Taco Bell apparently aren't hiring folks with good work ethics or the food would have been properly prepared for your safety and if my safety doesn't matter to a business, they don't need my money bad enough!
