The Gideons are a group of peole who aim to make the Bible available.
#All that a Gideon Bible means is that they have provided it. It is not a different Bible.

The Gideons are an international association of businesspeople who travel a lot.
They carry copies of the Bible (King James, or one of the newer translations), and ask permission to place them in hotel rooms, at their own expense.
Their hope is that someone who is in need of Bible wisdom, will use it find the help they need.

I think they were original king James bibles they are generally only new testament but I was given a full English Gideons bible to read in a church in Egypt naturally most of their bibles were in Arabic. they are provided free by the gidian organization so every one has the chance to read Gods word

Nothing, though it does have John 3:16 written in every known human language in the back pages. Other than that it says the same thing as any Bible.

It's a bible that is handed out free of charge. It's the only copy of the bible I have and I'd be lost without it -it's propping up a table in my kitchen.
