Listen... If you don't face your fears, they'll own you. Look at Howard Hughes. Face them down. If you let statistics tell you how many people die flying, driving, eating sleeping, house fires, earthquakes, drivebys, heartattacks, cancer, abnormal hearts, Suffocations, drownings,ODs,poisonings. Well, let's just say the anxiety will kill you. Chill the hell out, buck up, and go sky diving one time. Or bungee jumping. Your nerves may feel like they're gonna fry through your skin, but, once you're out the door of that plane and freefalling you'll experience what it's like to be alive. Life won't be the same for you after you come down. No more fears girl. Take life or it'll take you.

well, the unfortunate truth is that death is inevitable. Why are you afraid of death? Old age, or medical problems, or personal fears? If you go and see a psychiatrist, he/she may be able to help you pinpoint the cause of your fears. You could always consult with a close family member or friend, though I am assuming you already tried that before posting on here. If you are that afraid, make sure you always go with someone else when leaving the house, as much as possible. Do you live in a safe neighborhood? Take whatever precautions you need to (e.g. not walking alone outside at night, etc).
Cheer up. I suggest distracting yourself with some of your favorite activities so you won't spend your days worrying about the inevitable, which you cannot control. Of course, staying healthy, being careful at all times, and driving safely can also help.

I think on some level, everyone is afraid of death, even people who commit suicide. When you say: "It has gotten so bad I avoid dangerous situations." did you ever think maybe that's a good thing? While I'm not sure what you mean by 'dangerous situations', yeahhh.. A lot of the time I feel like I want to die, even though I'm scared of dying. I think it's just because death is something unknown to the living, and unknown things are often feared.

About everyone is afraid of death at least a little. It is completely normal. But when it goes too far that you avoid life it is not so good. There is counseling and medication available for phsycological problems like this. Just remember, the brave may not live forever, but the overly cautious never live. Princess Diaries has some good wisdom, you know. God bless you and byes! :)P.S., Always smile, smile, smile!

This does not sound like a bad thing. Explain what you consider dangerous situations.

It doesn't make any sense to fear the inevitable. Kinda weird, actually...you say you fear it, and yet it sounds like all you're doing is sitting around waiting for it. Get a therapist or whatever if you need to, but you need to get out there! Live you life! Have some fun! Yeah, you only go around once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Death is easy. You don't have to do anything. Life is what's hard. Talk to a counsellor or psychiatrist and find a way to live your life. You only get one go-round.

actually there is nothing to fear, I know of course it will take more than me saying that to convince you, I've actually been there but I learned that death is going to happen wheather we are afraid of it or not, it, something that you can't run from because if it's your time to go then you'll die, but, life is too short to be worried about when you will be going and take time to focus on things that are more important to you because everyone on earth is born to die and no one except god knows when someone is going to die, sometimes even doctors don't know, just put yourself at peace before you drive yourself mad with worry and focus on the future if you put your trust in the lord he'll never let you down and he'll tell you that have no fear and but your trust in him and live your life and be at peace
good luck and god bless
