CHICKEN

2006-12-10 07:27:52 · answer #1 · answered by ? 3 · 1 0

In hopes of putting an end to this question, the chicken came first, it laid an egg and from there came another chicken who laid another egg etc.
The egg couldn't have come first, since the egg is the zygote, resulting from fertilization of the ovum. It nourishes and protects the embryo. A chicken egg is like a fertilized human egg cell. You wouldn't say that a baby came first and then it's mother would you?.. There you have it I hope this settles it =)

Most people seem to say the chicken, but they fail to consider whether that chicken came from an egg. However, I believe in the book of Genesis, which states that God created all the animals of the earth, implying that the chicken came first and then bred to lay eggs and gave rise to more chickens. Trivia: Chickens outnumber humans in the world.

Well, I would say the chicken. But their would have to be a hen and a rooster so the egg could hatch. Also, if you say egg, it could make sense. They don't say it is a chicken egg, and stuff like dino eggs existed before chickens.
