This is a hard question to answer. obviously someone you love or think you love has hurt you in some way. What i would do in your situation is look deep in my heart. Could I ever forgive this person? If i could no i wouldn't dump them. But if what they did is beyond repair, such as cheating on me then i would have to talk to him. I would sit them down and calmly discuss what has happened. You can't yell at the person. just discuss it openly and honestly. Let them know that you are hurting and you want to know why they did this. If they apologize and ask you to forgive them and promise that they will try they hardest not to do it again. Give them another chance. If they do it again don't bother. obviously it is something that they can't stop. But make sure to look into your heart. Your heart will always guide the way.

It depends on what, how huge and damaging the issue was and how strong our love was.. Some things take work and time but can be fixed. We all make mistakes however if it was something that has really damaged a great foundation it would have to be seriously evaluated and considered if it was worth trying to rebuild it or not.

depends on the severity of messing up. I wouldnt dump them for any reason, even if it was an honest mistake. I would only dump them if they were cheating on me and being dishonest with intent to be cruel.

well it really depends on what they did i mean if they did something like cheat on u u need to remember that this could happen over and over again and u should not have to take that crap when u could find someone better but if its something little then i think u should wait a while and see how things play out

Perfect question for me.I just posted my question about the situation.
My Ex claims that he dumped me because he can't take my being so sensitive any more, but he loves me , care about me and can't imagine better life partner ?!?!
Personally I do not buy this. I would not dump somebody I love.

Well my ex dumped me and he still really loves me.(and i didn't do anything wrong, he didn't want me to wait for him, he's in the army)
but it would have to depend on what they did and how big it was.

well, i had my now ex gf cheat on me with her ex, tell me she doesn't love me anymore, and i didn't dump her, i loved her, she dumped me for the dude she cheated on me with, now she is trying to come back to me, but that is irrelevant, if you love her, stay with her (or him, don't know if you are a dude or a chick), true love can weather any storm

it's always worth working things out and talking about it,sometimes it helps the relationship and other times it doesn't.
