I want to leave my man around the 1st of the year and I need advice on how to very discreetly do that.

he is mean and abusive and i live with him so i have to sneak my clothes and stuff and i dont want him to know what do i do?

Why wait? If your planning to leave just do so today, why do you think you have to wait till the first of the year? It will hurt no more or no less to just tell him today and let him move on. Heck, maybe he'll find someone that loves him to start out the New Year with.

What do you mean by discreetly? Like just disappear and not tell him anything? Because thats right...you need to break up with him face-to-face. There really is no easy way to put it..you just gotta say it.
edit: Oo ok..an abusive relationship makes everything different. Just leave now and get out.
