planning to move tho hawaii. I am just wondering if lobsters inhabit hawaii, or are they a cold water creature. If they do inhabit hawaii are you allowed to havest them for meal.

Yes. But Hawaiian spiny lobsters have no claws. And you can only get them in months that have a "r" in it (May-Aug is offseason). If you want to catch other invertibrates in Hawaii, check out this link.

We have Red Lobster here in Waikiki and the lobster tastes really fresh. Most of the lobster are imported since they live in cold waters and Hawaii is near the equater.

Yes on two counts. They actually raise Maine lobsters in some aqua farms. In addition there is a native spiny lobster you can catch

Yeah, why wouldn't there be lobsters living in hawaii and why wouldn't you be able to eat them here?

Yes, yes, yes and they just don't live in cold waters although they do tend to grow bigger, why I don't have a clue, but u can get all types of seafood on any island any where in the world fresh.
