I get them really bad, to the point that they are bleeding. I've tried lotioning regularly, but that doesn't help. Any ideas?

try keeping your hands moist (lotion) and get a manicure. It's nothing but dry skin because your fingernails are growing.

don't pick or bite your nails. It's such a bad habit. I do it but try not to. By picking/biting your nails you're more likely to get ingrown nails which can cause an infection. Also you get hangnails which can bleed. Trim your nails so that they are straight across and not too short but not too long so they aren't getting caught in things and ripping.

The best way i have found to treat them is to cut them off close to the finger and then apply neosporin cream to them and cover with a bandaid before bed. in the morning they are much better.

try cocoa butter cream.. do not pull them.. also cutting ur cuticle is not a very good idea.. ur not suppose to anyway.. cut the loose skin but not to short.. do not pull em the same way tha it can peel more. if ur gonna pull it, pull it the opposite way that its going to peel.. try getting a manicure and a hand massage..

I get them really bad too... I just pull them off, not sure if there are any ways to prevent it.
