No. If you put a TRD supercharger that comes the same price as the turbo kit, then YES. It is back by Toyota with a 3 year warranty if install by the dealer. TRD supercharger for the 1.8L engine is available. You have to use premium fuel though.

go on eBay they make a product that fits into the tail pipe of your car and it will sound just like a turbo it sells for 20 or 30 dollars.

again why would you do that? the camrys and corollas are not made for performance, get a real car. For 4k i can get a 1998 toyota.

no way.. go to trd and get the supercharger. a turbo will kill that car. i work for toyota..
