I am not chubby, or fat, but through sports my legs have become bulky. I am embarassed to wear dresses and heels...any suggestions as to how to make them skinnier?

First off, there's no way a woman can have "manly" legs. They might be muscular, but they are definitely feminine.

Second, there are a lot of guys, myself included, who like women with strong legs and shapely muscles.

Third, you are who you are. You probably just build muscle fast. Are you going to give up sports? You still have to walk. It doesn't matter what you look like, there will always be guys who think your hot and others who think your not. There will always be women who think they're gross and always be women who'll wish they could have muscle too.

So just be happy with who you are.

to make legs more feminine, I think shaving them would help (I don't know if you do that). I have heard that wearing black makes people look slimmer so maybe you can consider wearing dark-colored dresses. Some people in my opinion look quite classy wearing black. About heels, I don't know how tall you are, but if you wear stylish heels, your legs may look more graceful than otherwise. You could always wear a full-length dress that covers up your legs if you're that ashamed about your legs (although you shouldn't be, because you should be proud of your body and how you are naturally built).

i am a transgendered woman (male to female). i had the same problem when i first started going out en femme with skirts, suits, shorts, etc on. i just came to accept who i am and what i am and "dressed around the problem". i wear suit/skirts to work (i work in a very conservative professional environment) with heels everyday. i am also a former basketball player (albeit in high school many years ago), so my legs filled out a bunch since then due to age, etc. i just have come to accept that i am NOT going to have model - like legs but i can have legs that men will look at. i wear hose to work everyday and i not only "pass" but i actually have men and women compliment me on my style and sense of style.
my advice is simple.....dont try to be something youre not comfortable with. if you are athletic, use that as your baseline style and go from there.

good luck and let me know if that helps.

Bulky legs are fine. I'm a guy and have skinny little chicken legs. I doubt anyone in the universe would think they're feminine.

You actually sound pretty hot...

If you're a guy, no problem. Sounds like you're being too self critical if you're a gal.
Try asking an older trusted friend if they really are.
