commercializing your homes for the Winter Solstice which we hijacked in the name of replacing Jesus' non known but probable September birthday? If so, do you care that it's borrowed? I don't. Any time is a good time to say thanks to God for giving me his son.

you are so right. It does not matter who takes ownership of this day. What matters is our heart and our Lord. This day gives an extra consideration for those around us and sharing our Lord with them. It is also a day of remembrance of who we are and why.

No, I don't care that it was borrowed. Each day is made by the Lord; however, we choose how we celebrate it. It doesn't matter that it is December 25th or any other day. Each day is special. And, it's not the winter solstice. It's the festival of Yule.

No one can hijack something that never can belong to them. Regardless of the day, God still makes it. People do evil and good everyday of the year. Halloween is Samhein which is the high holy day for Pagans. Easter is also borrowed. The days of the week are named and the months are named after gods and goddesses. Are you going to stop using the Julian Calendar?

You choose how to use the day God gave to you.
