I totally understand how you could get so lazy. When I stay home a lot, get on the computer or watch tv, I get lazy. I don't want to do anything, I'm comfortable. But there are times when I go out with friends, or to the gym. And suddenly I feel so much better. Once I'm out. You just need to step out of the house and GO!! Keep busy, and it energizes you. You ever notice that sleeping too much makes you tierd?? Or laying down too long makes your body ache?
Moving around and doing things will help your laziness.

Get involved with people, get involved in sports or something where you are obligated to be there but like. Somewhere where people will call you and encourage you to be active! Church, volunteer, even go to like a park and read, get an animal, if allowed, volunteer at an animal shelter. My friend is an awesome guy but he has wasted like 7 years of his life not doing anything. He is 21 and doesn't have a job, just his computer, he gave up his friends and has lost everything. It's good that you want to change.

Find a hobby you enjoy that will get you out of the house for a while. I use indoor rock climbing to keep from veggin' out all the time. Try sports, clubs, friends or whatever will keep your interest level up.

I think you need to sit down (no wait, stand up) and think about what outdoor activity might be of interest to you. Biking, hiking, fishing, football, baseball, etc.. Then seek out the activity and get involved. Maybe join one of those big brother organizations and then you'll be more inspired to show the kid a good time.

Sounds like you are screwed to me....

If you really wanted to change you would. You aren't ready to. You are looking for something to make you want to change- the magic pill, and it just ain't out there. It comes from the inside.

It's because you feel comfortable to do whatever you want at your mum or dad's house, I guess it carries over from when you lived with them as a kid. I think it will pass naturally as you get older and settled down with a life of your own.
