I have a CHI and its amazing. I get major compliments on my hair, its straight and smooth every day no matter what, and my hair is naturally curly beyond belief. It works really well and really fast, too. no need to re-straighten throughout the day, and it turns even the curliest of hair pin straight in a matter of seconds.

The GHD is absolutely the best hair straightner and you can use it to create curls, waves and flicks too so it's very versatile. If used with GHD iron oil and in moderation it's very good. It has the added bonus of making hair very shiney somehow aswell!!

I bought a saphire straightener from folica.com three years ago. It was the best $100 ive ever spent. After going thru a new one every three months, a single one that is lasting almost four years is definately a steal.

Most people say chi, i see they break alot by 1 year from reviews so i wont buy chi.
I would say sedu or solia.

Anything made by CHI just make sure it has a ceramic plate it protects your hair while making it silky.
