It will be cheaper if you get it thru your parents policy somehow, but unfortunately you are in the highest risk catagory. high school drivers ed class could help... and if you chose to carry ins. to cover your vehicles damage or loss it can relate to the value of your auto ...also high horsepower or sporty autos will increase the price you will pay..from $50 to $100 a month is my guess...

I got my liscence when i was 16 it 's been 1yr and from the day i got my liscnece i started looking for insurance all around i couldnt find anything for cheap everything i could find was like $ 3000,$4000 for six months that is a lot of money but finally i came up with one insurance WOW........ it's really great i guess you should give it a try but i dont think you can even get a quote with out getting liscence you atleast need to get your permit if you need a quote but i guarntee you that it is not going to be much if you go with this insurance his name is Arthur i am 100% sure he will give you a good price... oh.......ya i forgot to tell you this i am only paying $120/month that is nothing compared to all other insurance

Depends on the company. Call around and get quotes. You can even get them online. Since you're young it will cost more, rates start going down when you're 25 with no accident/violations.
