Okay there is really no answer to this. When you first see someone you are attracted to them physically not mentally so this person who asked you out is physically attracted to you and wants the opertunity to get to know you better to see if you would be a potentially good person to be with. In your case there is no attraction so should you go out with them. Its up to you really but I would a least do it once maybe twice get to know the person you never know you could have alot in common and really like this person. Then again you may not. Be open minded i say give it a chance but you may not be this kind of person. Really like i said there is no answer you have to find what is better for you

Depends on your needs I'd guess
Can you go out
just to be going out
and not expect every date to be
THE one?
Go out try and be entertained
expand your horizons
never have too many friends
unless of course this person has a lifestyle totally at odds with your being healthy, etc

This has happened to me. And sadly, I'm too nice of a person so I've said yes to not make them feel bad. Only to spend a whole date HATING my life & counting down the hours until I get to home.. lol.. Not recommended!!

I have gone out with men that i was not attracted to because they insisted that it would only be one date and that i will have the option to turn them down after that.

No. That would be leading them on and it's not fair to them. Why be with someone you don't like? You wouldn't like it, and they will be hurt when you dump them. JUST SAY NO!
