Just wiping with tissue serves the purpose of protecting our clothing from getting waste on them. It does not replace washing. It is very unsanitary to never wash your privates, not to mention stinky. Of course we sweat down there. Its dark and covered up and sometimes damp and suseceptable to bacteria. so Definately give it a good cleaning at least once a day with a shower or bath. I personally use baby wipes each time I visit the potty. Makes me feel fresh and my bottom is happy too. Try it

Otherwise it stinks and wiping doesn't replace washing. At least once a day. It makes you feel fresh.
For hygenic reason, it's really important. You can get infections and it will itch a lot and you'll be in trouble and will have to see a doctor about this and show him or her.
Simply wash your private parts everyday and everything will be fine :)

for hygienic reason you should wash especially ladies they could get an infection eg yeast infection and itching and besides wiping doesn't get rid of all the bacteria, and depends what you wipe with, with wipes of just plain paper, if you re on the go then I can understand, then you wipe, but once you sweat you need to wash off

People do sweat in the groin area, actually. That is one reason why we wash there.
Also, in virtually all of Asia people actually wash their private parts after they do to the bathroom (public washrooms in Thailand actually have a little hose that sprays warm water attached near the toilet)
