When sex is not part of the equation.. if it is before/during or after sex or in anticipation of more sex then chances are he is spinning you a line to get his way..
A sure fire way to know he is telling the truth is when his actions match his words..he says he loves you and shows you he loves you then you are onto a winner (I mean shows you all the time, consistently, by not letching at other women, ringing on time, treating you fantastic, being caring, funny, considerate etc.etc)
.. if on the other hand he gives you the standard 'Never felt this way about anyone before, love you, you look amazing, think about you all the time (yawn yawn - all been there - it is text book stuff) AND at the same time through his actions tells you something different and gives you mixed signals then start to question his integirty rapidly (quicker the better because it will only end in tears..yours and better that the rat thinks you got bored of him than he has the satisfaction of leaving another broken hearted conquest behind..) - examples of a liar professing undying love but showing the truth through his actions include not calling when he says he will, being distant, criticising you, being overly interested in sex regardless of how you feel, flirting with other people, never buying you great gifts etc etc
Hope this helps.. be wary though - more frogs out there than princes and just because YOU are genuine does not mean (despite his crocodile tears) he is.. if he is the real deal he won't mind proving it to you and waiting for as long as it takes..

i dnt think u truley can, even girls say stuff they dont always on a long term basis mean. Guys may mean what they say at the time or just say it for the benefit for others. I dont think we can know a guy means exaxctly what he says, however we dont have any particular reason not to trust, them

A man never maens what he says. there is always a double meaning to everything. So that if things dont turn out the way they want they can change what they originally said around.

Its the same with anyone really. You will know if they are talking meaningfully by gut feeling. Don't just take the words, watch the body language and attitude!

This applies to men and women:
when they have just injured themselves, ie I cut off my toe, please help!
when they go for seconds at dinner, That is good food.
when they look at you while speaking, and you can see it in their eyes. Eyes are the windows to our soul, tell me, are his curtains drawn? does he smile that smile that says everything you need to know, but wish to ignore?
