Muslims and christians are so much alike, and they agree on so many things...they both want to run everyone's lives, they both think people who don't believe as they do are going to hell, they both think what adults do in private is their business...why don't they get along better?

Well the answer to this question is quite clear. Both want the monopoly on bullshit. If there was a God he would have definitively settled this. This just proves that there is no God or on the other hand if there is he is an A.. Hole. Why doesn't he come down here and settle this mess. Could it be that he just doesn't exist? Wow! What a novel idea. In the end it's all crazy. what can you say about this that has not already been said. Have you ever noticed that only certain types of people are attracted to this crap in the first place. I think they deserve each other.

Yes, they are similar. I had discussions with Muslims and with Christians that were almost literally the same. The difference is that the Muslims think the Christians are wrong and the Christians think the Muslims are wrong. I once saw here that a Christian wrote he is so sad for his Muslim friend that he will go to hell, and asked what he could do to save him, and he got several answers from Muslims who wrote something like "No, you will go to hell, not your friend". When people tell each other "I am right and you are wrong" this shows they are somehow similar in their thinking, but it is not a good base for understanding and respect.
However Christians and Muslims can get along if they are just not too radical.

Well, for one their beliefs aren't as similar as you think. There are major differences. Real Christians don't want to run everyone's life and don't judge people. That's God's job. What adults do in private is only the business of whoever is doing it. It's between the people that do it and God. Everyone will have to answer for their unrepented sins in the end and all sins are equal in the eyes of God. Anyone who says different hasn't read their Bible and shouldn't judge others unless they want to be judged as well.

There is small difference.Infact no one can become Muslim if he does not believe that Bible is the revealation of GOD.Which is revealed on Prophet Jesus.And then the Muslim have to believe on Ouran which is revealed on Prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H).
But the differance is that Muslim belive that this Bible present now is not in real words.And the other Book revealed were only for some Nation or time. but Quran is guidance for whole Nation of the world.But in simple Muslims belive on Bilble revealed on Jesus(P.B.U.H).
Well do not fight or abuse on another Religion or say harsh words for one another Religion.
We have to meet all religion which are common thing.First come on that things that r same in one another Religion then fight.
Only Come to those Points which r same or common in Different Religion.E.g whta is common in Christanity and Islam or Hinduism.

Muslims believe that Christ is only a profit.
Without Christ as the savior their is no Christianity.
If Christ is the Messiah then there is no Islam.
