Put dry foods stuffs in glass sorage units to prevent cross contamination. Refertaite all dry stuffs ( or cool "root celler' / basment). Only buy what you can use up in under a month.

Make sure the product DOESN'T have weevels in it when you bring it home!. I bought some hampster food a few years ago that had weevels in it. I took the box back to the store and they refused to do anything until I showed the manager the boxes on the shelves had the same bore holes mine did and the shipping codes matched. The store paid to have my house fumigated but I was out the $$ for the contaminated food stuffs.

Get some tupperware bins from Wal-Mart or Target that have sealing lids. I dump my bags of flour in them and when they're airtight, nothing will get in unless the weevils were already in it in the first place and hatched.

Bay leaves...spread them around in the corners of the cabinet where you store such food and it will keep the weevils away, as they don't like bay leaves....and it's natural so you don't have to worry about any chemicals getting into your food...

By some juicy fruit sticks and unwrap put in products. Works great with flour. Remove product from original packaging and put in your own container, preferably on with lid. Always keep in covered container.
