If you can't speak of peace the rest of the year while there's a war going on without being called unpatriotic, why bother to include this greeting on your Christmas cards?

I don't think it's too radical. I think it's a wonderful idea. It has to start somewhere. I believe in peace. I don't believe I'll see it in my lifetime, but I believe in making efforts to encourage it.
Unfortunately, a good part of the American public have grown frightened since 9/11 and have been lead to believe that the only way to prevent violence was with more violence. This is not the way, and I hope America comes to realize that some day.

I appreciate the sentiment of course but I have a deep rooted cynicism that makes me doubt if it is really of any relevance.
