Twice a day should be plenty. Also get some MSM cream and use it twice daily too. It is supposed to be beneficial in reducing scarring.

Vitamin e oil is great for scars, even old ones, and can be used right out of the bottle. you don't have to use capsules. Check with your pharmacist about tea tree, isn't that to drying?

I had a scar on my face that was actually small and not very noticeable so I began using the Palmer's vit. E serum and it cleared it up in two weeks to where it was almost gone. A pretty good investment for such a natural product.

I think you should hold off on the vitamin e oil idea....not to put you down but I used it to get rid of red marks..and...while it did get rid of them, I broke out massively, which gave me 15 more red marks. If they're actual scars, the vitamin e wont help them. If they're flat red marks, they will fade eventually.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
