Dante, could not have dreamed up a worse "hell", than what mans (cororate) true history, has been.
According to scripture, The Son of Perdition will be revealed, or identified, in the end time.
That is the one who is called "Devil", or "Satan", or Beast of the earth. The original Serpent.
Once the Son of Perdition is Identified, "He", will rise up from the "material" places that He is bound, to go out and decieve the nations. Then the new world government, will strike with such force, that people will not know, what hit them.

Dear Vlad,
In 1988 the church age ended. At this point in time the Great Tribulation period began. It is not a 7 year period as most theologians ascribe to but a 23 year period which will result in the end of the world and 2nd coming of Christ. Satan has been ruling the earth since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. However, the Lord in His great mercy and lovingkindness determined to save a people for Himself out of the mass of rebellious humanity. The Lord, in order, to have these "elect ones" had to pay their sin debt (eternal damnation) and give them a new resurrected soul. These acts are miraculous because if we are going to pay for our sins, we would have to spend eternity in hell. Only the God-Man Jesus Christ could pay this penalty and come out from under the wrath of God. God's perfect justice requires this. What is so amazing is the love He has for these whom He has chosen to save--how He endured all this for them.
The church which began in 33 A.D. was created by the Lord. Only truly saved people were to members there and the Lord established strict rules for it's continuance. But just as ancient Israel disobeyed God's commands, so the churches disobeyed the laws of God. The unsaved got into the church and became leaders in the churches, causing the people of God to fall away from the truth. Judgment always follows sin, and so the Lord gave the churches to satan to rule there. This is the point 1988 when satan rule over the world was complete. That is why God has commanded the true believers to come out of the church (Revelation 18:4). 2011 appears to be the year when the Lord Jesus Christ will return to take His children to heaven and destroy the world, casting satan and all who serve him into eternal hell.

That is not exactly how it goes. For a thousand years he will be active trying to get as many souls as he can. It will be active on both sides. After the thousand years , Satan will be no more trouble.

Jesus Return According to the common christian teaching
- According to the New Testament, he was raised from the dead by God on the third day following his crucifixion and appeared to his disciples; the Acts of the Apostles reports that forty days later he ascended bodily into Heaven and retains since then both of his natures, divine and human. Paul's letters to the Romans, Ephesians and Colossians, as well as the letter to the Hebrews (traditionally attributed to Paul) claim that Jesus presently exercises all authority in heaven and on earth for the sake of the Church, until all of the earth is made subject to his rule through the preaching of the Gospel, see also the Great Commission. Based on the New Testament, Christians believe that Jesus will return from heaven at the end of the age, to judge the living and the dead, and fulfill the rest of Messianic prophecy.
In many sects of the Latter Day Saint movement (Mormonism), it is believed that Jesus appeared in the Western Hemisphere after his resurrection and taught some early Americans, whom The Book of Mormon says were of Israelite descent. It is also believed that, because the Book of Mormon refers to "other lost sheep," when Christ left America he may have visited other civillizations in different parts of the world, although it is not mentioned where.
Jesus's second coming accroding to Muslims and the Quran -
Muslims believe that Jesus is alive in Heaven, and will return to Earth to defeat the Dajjal (Antichrist).
- In the following verses, refuters of Jesus' return translate verb “mutavafika” (Ù
تÙÙÙÙ) as physical death of Jesus before ascension of his body while proponants translate it as termination of Jesus' period on earth.
“And when Allah said: O Jesus, I am going to terminate the period and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed.„
Jesus (PBUH) will return. When he will return is unknown but he will establish the one true faith and dis- associate partners with the one true god and clear up misconceptions about him. Furthermore he will slay the Anti-Christ and the worshipers of Satan.
