I am more concerned with the misconceptions voiced by so many non-Muslims (my guess is that they are mostly participants in the new brand of Christianity) Some of their comments come from sheer ignorance and probably stupidity. I have not found Muslims to be as arrogantly inane and proudly misinformed as the non-Muslims.

Just about every group in the world gets made fun of without violent reprisal (watch Family Guy and south park for starters). muslims (and not all, mind you) tend to take everything very seriously and personally. I don't understand it, but i think its a bit ridiculous.

Not really, the violence in the middle east is as bad as it gets. I have not seen any respect towards people with a different belief
