I think that it is not right for people to judge, but that is a judgment its self. I think that the old rule "do not discuss religion and politics" has a hell of a lot of merit. People cannot discuss these topics without getting all bent out of shape

Judge not lest you be judged. When Christians try to become more righteous themselves, they observe others and wonder why others aren't doing what they think they should. They get critical and even angry. That is being judgmental and because of self righteousness.

In reality, once a person is born of God, nothing can make Christian more or less righteous before God, than when person was first saved. God sees the righteousness of Christ, the person redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb.

I can discern if someone makes a mistake in how person worded a question. So, I used to make mistakes more often years ago, and felt so condemn. Like once I prayed a verse with others that perfect religion before God is helping the widows and orphans and left it at that. Later, I realized there was more to the verse; an important part. And to keep self from sinful living. So, it bothered me that I didn't include that & I felt condemn. So I called the other ladies up and told them where I was wrong.

It is because I kept making these sort of mistakes that I felt embarrassed more each time. So, now, I just get an assurance from God that I wrote it OK for Him. As long as God is OK with it, I know I wont be ashamed later even if Christians judge me. Christian criticism can really hurt. So, one needs to cover their backside, knowing in their knower that it is OK with God. It just takes of simple question to God. Is this OK? Love rejoices in the truth and God is Love. So if you can rejoice in your spirit from faith love in the truth / OK of it, then you know you don't need to edit anything. Sometimes God will tell you not to write anything or to edit, so you need to be obedient.

I think the ones who judge should go back and reread some important but often overlooked phrases in the bible. Jesus said love the sinner, not the sin. He also said judge not lest be surely be judged, and condemn not or you will be condemned. It is alright and proper to take your brother aside and remind him that he is commiting a sin but you had best not start pointing fingers at anyone until you have dealt with your own sin. And showing someone their sin does not equate to saying OHHH You're gonna burn in hell for that. None of us knows what goes on between another person and God so to make large statements like this is to prove yourself a fool.

Josie,
We need to forgive and help that person to get back to their relationship with Jesus Christ. Restoring a person is the most important thing. Judging is a interesting aspect of Christian conversation. "To be a Christian,??" What follows is a list of that individual personal convictions and then they try to apply them to everyone else. The Bible is our source of how we should live. If a person can give some scriptures, like the ten commandments, reading out of the Bible is not judging but simply quoting scripture. Remember we are to help restore a person not tear them down. We should help in love, to forgive, and help them in their walk.

Josi,

Good Question! Perhpas YOU could read 1Corinthians 5:1-TO-7 and see what happened to Those Christians = BECAUE THEY WOULDN'T JUDGE SIN IN THEIR CHURCH?

Also see Jude 1:3-4 and 2Corintians 11"13-to-5 = then Ask about Judging?

YOU see, MOST Christians do not Understand JUDGING! Do you have a Credit Card? Do you go On Line = AND JUDGE YOUR BALLANCE AND CHARGES? Of course, the Prudent person would!

Do you go to a Pharmasist WHO DOESN'T HAVE A STATE LICENSE? Of course NOT! YOU JUDGE if He is QUALIFIED TO fill your perscription!

IF IS SAY, you shall not scateboard, then I am Wrongly JUDGING! God said Nothing about Scateboarding! BUT HE did tell us to follow the Laws of the land [Providing they do not Violate the WORD OF GOD.]

But if you scateboard, IN A SHOPPING MALL, where You are NOT ALOULD TO SCATEBOARD, and I tell you, "DON'T SCATEBOARD IN HERE!"

THEN I am Telling and Judging YOU = CORRECTLY! Because the Law says NOT TO SCATEBOARD in the Mall, [Private Property]

IF ONE COMMITS 'SEXUAL SINS' and calls the Name of Christ, and I tell you what GOD HAS ALREADY JUDGED, [See 2Cor 7:2, Romans 13:9 and Exodus 20:14] then That is NOT Judging! GOD HAS SAID IT IS WRONG = ALREADY!
Any more questions, please feel free to email me directly!

Thanks, RR

According to the Bible, God is the only judge.

As a Christian we have to build each other and warn each other, if doing something not correct warning with love, through love, and for God Glory.

Whatever is not for God Glory is not according to the bible.

On yahoo answers u will find a lot of different people, with different ideas, believes and behaviours. and All will answer if they know the answer or not. they want to say something.

So don't bother urself with the answersssssssssss

In my opinion, Christians should not judge other Christians or anyone else for that matter and vice versa. Everyone, no matter what religion, race, ethnic, has their pros and cons... and I believe that every religion's intentions are good: love thy neighbor, reach out to others etc. We shouldn't judge others just because their religion statues or use josssticks, or they are free-thinkers.

By their fruit ye shall know them; if this is not judging, then I do not know what is. When we are told by God not to judge others, He is speaking of the final judgment, where our eternal fate will be decided, He does not mean things pertaining to the non-eternal aspects of life. But just like John said, if you transgress the Law of God, you are going to be destroyed. That means that you are going to hell, and if he can say that, then it is OK for me to say it too.

I'm not a Christian but get real. Face reality.
Christians do not just judge other so called Christians. They Judge everyone!
Christians are the most closed minded and judgemental people I have ever met!

If an idea does not fit within what their preacher teaches then it is of the devil!
