thanks welches. I tend to agree that all cards should be on the table, no "surprises" late in the game. Where we prob wont see eye to eye is my view that men and women are absolutely NOT equals when it comes to sexual/emotional side effects (damage - trauma) resulting from promiscuous behavior. I believe women suffer more and lasting effects.

yes that is a lot
1. I'm American Born Chinese
2. Maybe a little-a lot if I don't say anything

It totally depends on each individual and how she views sex. To me, that's a bad reflection of personality. Somebody's got some issues, no offense

It all depnds on the girl and her mate's personal opinions, and those are the ONLY ones that matter. But I would think that it depends on the situations, if she just randomly slept with people, or if she was in relationships. As long as her fiancee knew of her past at the proposal, then there is absolutley no reason to feel bad about her past. My opinion is stemming from an American culture.
And as a female, in 12 years I do not see it as a lot, but again, it does all depend on situations.

I am from the USA. I don't think I would feel alot of guilt, maybe some regret, but if you have been honest with him there should be no guilt. 12 means an avg. of one a year. and I know tons of girls who reach 12 by the time they are 18. So I find nothing nasty about it

The typical American girl does have sex with multiple partners before marriage, but once she finds the guy she truly loves and wants to be with, she'll remain faithful to him. Check your facts, though: most marriages fall apart because of the man, not the woman. Men are more likely to cheat because they can't just appreciate what they've got, or they're too stupid to realize that they should just end the relationship if the women they're with are no longer satisfying to them. Also, a lot of men become lazy and too comfortable once they're married, thinking that their wives will always be ready to baby them. We don't mind babying our men a bit every now and then, but we don't like to wait on them hand-and-foot, and we get sick of being treated like we're maids rather than intimate partners.

I am from a small town in Alabama

In my experience if you are 27....you are relatively in experienced...most women I know slept with 12 guys by the time they were 21 ....and most of them have been with many more than that by 27.... if answered honestly most women have been with at least 10 by 27 anyway

yes. Sex is soley for the purpose of the union of a husband and wife. And the creation of their children, as well as personal pleasure betweeen the two. I am saying this because, like corrupt politicians who go to jail for doing anything else other than the job they were paid to do, any other way caused disaster. Think of the divorce rates, tv shows, abortions, lost souls, std's, and the utter misery it contains (especially when cheating) if u do it any other way but with your spouse...AFTER u are married. But u already know this.....

1. I'm in the US.

2. I don't think I would feel gulity or regretful for my past actions, no matter what they are.

When a man proposes, he is telling her that he loves her, and is willing to accept her, flaws, past misdeeds, and all. Her past partners shouldn't be any issue, as long as she has been cleared (by testing) for STD's and HIV. If she needs to be held accountable for all of her past partners, then so does he. You can't say that she has slept around, but it was acceptable for you to play the field before her. She wasn't a virgin when you met. So what? I'm betting that neither were you.

USA
no, that averages out to 1 a year so it doesnt seem like that many. unless she was in an 11 year relationship and then slept with the rest in a short amount of time! i wouldn't sweat it.

I am from the US. I think that's a lot. I would have nothing to feel guilty about because I'm not having sex until AFTER I'm married.
