Pizza Metro at 1707 West Division Street is the absolute antithesis of Piece, Wicker Park's other hip pizzeria. This place is small, loud, and casual, a scaled down version of many Roman via-corner pizzeria. There's no liquor license, no nonsense and it's open late. Inexpensive Roman style pizza is exquisitely done and served mostly by the slice. Small but solid selection of toppings (potato & rosemary, gorgonzola, prosciutto) and a more adventurous pizza of the day are available, as are a wide and ever-changing variety of Italian breads, pastries and desserts. The crust is thin and buttery, and the pastries are convincing enough to bring people to a no-frills pastry shop for breakfast.

This one is easy; way back when Chicago was coming up there was a place called Uno's; it still stands......A notorious Gangster was shot there way back in the day......If you want a taste of Chicago; you can not go back any farther then Uno's; it is very close to the magnificent mile and you will love the place.......Always busy; but you will get in with not much of a wait.....They have a lot of photos on the wall of back in the day and literature underneat them.....Located on a nice side of town

Dont get me wrong they are known for there pizza.....Its all in the sauce

My personal favorite pizza is Barnaby's in Schaumburg. But it's not "Chicago style".

For Chicago style pizza, probably Gino's East.

Drive 3 hours west to a little town called Monmouth and eat at the Italian village. It's been there since 1955.

Chain it would be Pizza Hut because they seem to control their product better. A Hut pizza is about the same anywhere you, some others not so much.
