Either give yourself a steam facial, by covering your head with a towel and looking over a steamy pot of water, or take a nice hot shower. Failing that, apply a hot washcloth to the spot. It may take a day or so, but it should soften the spot and let it drain itself. Don't squeeze or poke it, as that may rupture it under the skin and make things bigger and worse. Once it begins to drain itself, hot washcloths will help speed the process, and it will begin to heal. A dab of any over the counter acne gels will help dry any remaining oil and also heal it. Keep it handy, and in the future, when you notice a red spot coming put a dab of it on. It won't prevent everything, but it will help. Keep your face clean, and keep your hands away from your face as much as possible. Regular steam facials help keep the pores of the face clear and clean, and also help avoid troubles.

Zits are normal. They will go away over time and everyone gets them, so don't be worried. Don't be embarassed!
